:covid_19: đŸ˜· đŸ„ Corona Virus the thread for all your fears ❓

I don’t see why not - can you imagine the occupational health risk from working with someone who has Covid? Massive chance of very expensive compensation claims.

Of course they don’t - why would they? You want get pissed and shag birds/blokes. You want to try drugs.

You’re not going to do that under the roof of Mum and Dad.

A load of wankers wearing lampshades on their heads within three days of leaving mummy and daddy’s?

University at university is a fucking pretension factory.

Firstborn goes to Kings, comes back with a fetish for sourdough, garlic and expensive middle class shit.

Lastborn goes to Liverpool. I fear no sour dough demands in the future from her.

Not all of them - but there has to be a good chunk that dont relish the debt burden that comes with a degree - particularly as a degree is no guarantee of a good job like it once was

The kids don’t know any different because the universities are not giving them choice - none of them have got creative because they cannot afford to give up the fees - they have mortgaged their futures confident that the fees gravy train will keep on chugging. They don’t give a shit about the kids debt. there is too much money to be made maintaining the status quo

Ummm, I think you’ve rotated your number 6 180°

Whilst we don’t charge the maximum allowed, £9k, we charge £8.9k a year as, I sissies, do most other universities.

You’re right it is a gravy train but you also have to build new buildings to attract the students to get the money, chicken and egg situation.

Not twice they wouldn’t

To be fair, that’s only if you’ve got no friends there.

If you do, it’s a fucking great laugh.

Took a mate with me actually. We had a small crew. It was mostly bound together by a general dislike of idiotic students.

Fees | Funding | Bursaries | The Open University

Oh, you were talking about OU costs, so effectively a fair bit cheaper than actually attending a university

To paraphrase someone the other day

Hadn’t even considered Covid would impact on this:

I drive my car mostly about once a week to go to the supermarket, though tomorrow I’m driving to the dentist - A top day out in the grand scheme of things :+1:

I’m saving a fortune on petrol :tada:

Still paying the same car insurance :sob:

Me too. Simeone had been spreading rumours that you weren’t supposed to drink before getting it. Nice lady on phone said that was not true, but would I not turn up pissed.
She doesn’t know me.
