There’s a new chippie opened up in braishfield. Am awaiting reports from my niece who lives near the premises, but it’s supposed to be rather good.

Hmmm.

It’s a bit of a no-brainer if you want to ensure a maximum uptake of the vaccine.

If pubs made it a condition of entry then it would be job done

Is this like having to wear a Yellow Star on your jacket if you haven’t had a vaccination?

Is this what you were talking about?

The government seem to be giving out mixed messages on it so far though

In other news.
Mark Francois is in hospital with a permanent erection.

Yep - I may have made a leap but you can guarantee that if it becomes a thing, airlines, cruise companies and destination countries will be requesting it

Quite right too, it’s a perfectly reasonable request IMO. In the future when this nightmare will hopefully be behind us, after all the sacrifices that have been made, why on earth would people who refused to be vaccinated expect to be able to just jump on a plane or ship and go anywhere in the world they want, the same as people who have been vaccinated. It’s a no brainer to me. If people don’t like it, there’s always Bognor.

Partner’s work place have now been offered vaccine in the stage 2 roll out for social care staff. They got a proper leaflet. We just had a number to call. I was super lucky really. A colleague went yesterday for her vaccine and got a sticker!

This is what happens when you have ā€˜Lefties’ running a country. I remember seeing a piece in The Telegraph back in the spring telling us that Jacinda Arden’s Coronavirus policy would be "disastrous’ for New Zealand. Now, just over 20,000 cases and just 25 deaths later things are pretty much back to a pre covid normal. The benefits of having a serious person in charge, making correct calls from the start, utilizing existing health service set ups to immediately implement an effective and efficient testing and tracing system, instead of bypassing them and farming it out to friends and family, for them to line their pockets with countless millions of public money for fucking it up. Shutting airports immediately, a proper lockdown immediately, mask wearing mandatory, all of which was followed by the population with very little moaning and whining about their ā€˜human rights’. She chose a short term serious hit to their economy versus the acceptance of thousands of deaths, our leaders chose the opposite philosophy. Now their economy is recovering rapidly and the people are reaping the benefits.
Oh, and not having a pathological liar and narcissistic man child running the show didn’t do any harm either.

Australia aren’t far behind them.

They have done well so far, They slammed the door shut which enabled them to get on top of the virus and haven’t opened them since - the proof of the pudding will be when they reopen their borders. i wish them luck
