Weekend press briefing to stop due to low viewing figures
because obviously high ratings are the whole point of them

This is basically an admission that whatever path we’re on now in terms of lockdown easing its nothing to do with science
If Whitty is saying it’s level 4, why are the govt easing lockdown to level 1 and 2 behaviours?

Chris Whitty ‘vetoed lowering of coronavirus alert level’

This isn’t too positive either

Covid-19 spilling out of hospitals and care homes, says UK expert

Jumping to the punchline in tweet three.

The only other country in red category hasn’t even had a lockdown.

Hang on - I thought this guy was a fuck witt

Dodgy models and morals

As far as I recall he met his lover during lockdown but I don’t think that took his qualifications away. I may be wrong.

Sorry, but if we link infection rate to death rate thus and Sweden are still in the the ‘much higher than seasonal average’ death rate zone (www.euromomo.eu), so the graphics used are pretty accurate/damning. But hey, who gives any fucks right? why do we want to be like the rest of Europe?

they probably should given some the criticism of his model and the underlying coding

I’m genuinely unaware of specific criticism of him other than his knobbing antics.

Watching Hancock doing press briefing. That 7 day rolling average figure looks concerning to me. Why’s is going up and down like that? Doesn’t look like we’ve got it under control.

Haven’t seen today’s numbers / graphs yet.

'Questioned whether the relaxation of lockdown rules in effect went against Whitty’s judgment, Johnson’s spokesman said; “I don’t accept that”.
So there we have it, a refusal to even accept a fact as a fact, how on earth can you even begin to have any accountability for anything on this basis?
They are treating us as fools, pulling our pants down and blowing smoke up our arse.

65,000 deaths, the highest in Europe, second only to America. Tracking and tracing an absolute dog’s breakfast, public trust plummeting, the laughing stock of the world after yesterday’s scenes at Westminster and this is the response from the clown. What on earth would any sane person have to feel very proud about? There are no words.
