So 1) what is it about the Man City v Arsenal game that justifies postponing it and 2) why would any games go ahead at the weekend?
The owner of a Greek club was in contact with the Arsensal squad less than 2 weeks ago and has contracted the virus

Interest rates cut 50 basis points. That’s a big cut.
I hope the financial hit that we will all take from this is pinned to the Tory government in the same way the GLOBAL financial crisis of 2008 was the Labour government’s fault.

Against my gut reaction not to go to the pub quiz last night I went. Rather depressingly three of my fellow quizzers thought the current crisis has been exaggerated by the UK media. Our Porton Down friend wasn’t there…significant?

And with that we are utterly fucked.
Main tourist sites here being shut down until 25th March, Auschwitz & Saltmines. Means the few trips we had this month will now have to be cancelled. So no income. Not just us but the whole of the local tourist industry.
Time to go empty the supemarket.

Bit surreal out there.
Not swarms but a lot of villagers walking to the various shops with bags, trolleys or backpacks.
Car parks full.
No panic, but yes every trolley had 1 pack of loo roll & water.
I’d call it Stoic Stocking rather than panic buying.
The only shortage? Spirytus Vodka. Got enough for the time being should we need to deep cleanse anything.
I did buy an 8 pack of beer & a couple of Vodkas for the emergency stocks.
And of course I bought the last one of these in the village
