Canadian care home investigated after 31 deaths
Police in the Canadian province of Quebec have opened an investigation into a private care facility in Montreal where 31 people have died in the last month.
At least five of the 31 deaths were confirmed to be due to Covid-19.
Quebec Premier FranƧois Legault told reporters on Saturday there might have been āgross negligenceā by management at the Residence Herron home.
When health officials inspected the facility at the end of March, they found the majority of staff had left and residents living in terrible conditions, without food and water, some lying in soiled beds. Those who were infected with the coronavirus had not been isolated properly.
āItās not acceptable, the way we treat our elderly in Quebec," Legault said, according to the Globe and Mail.
"Weāve known nursing homes are understaffed, that people are underpaid, particularly in private homesā¦ Iām not proud to see whatās happening.ā
Itās the fail and some of this is bullshit writing. OBVIOUSLY Chinese container volumes are down, it takes up to 6 weeks to reach UK & they are only now coming out of lockdown.

Hereās Dr Fauci saying that if the US had introduced social distancing earlier then obviously more lives would have been saved, but there were other pressures.
This is true of the UK as well.
Tougher measures, introduced more quickly would have saved lives. But the economy comes first. Cunts.

EU data suggests half of all COVID-19 deaths are occurring there. Our government is releasing details of hospital deaths only.
I reckon underlying medical conditions will do me in long before anyone makes that call for me. That said, theyāve proven to be fucking lethal the minute something gets around.
I wonder if people of younger generations will see them quite the same way.
