I get where you’re coming from, sir, but we all know that it’s a work in progress. There’s a good deal of winning mentality in this side when you look at individual players.
I am much happier seeing what I’ve just seen than some of the feted, but ultimately useless squads we’ve sent to the WC.
I take nowt for granted in terms of outcome, but I do think Sweden are going to give us more time on the ball, could well put ten men behind it, looking to snatch a win, but they’re not going to kick us to fuck, like the Colombians did tonight.
Could be a good chance to re-establish this team’s groove.

Generally agree, but I do think we’ll have a better chance against a footballing side that want to attack. Unfortunately I don’t think that is Sweden.
I’m really impressed with the team’s shape defensively but just as frustrated that we aren’t able to link up the thirds. Against a team that fancies attacking we’ll have more space.
Was shouting (mainly at @Rust-Cohle) all night that we need to take more risks with our passes. Everything was a short 3-5 meter tap to the man in space or it went backwards. Take some risks (in the right areas) and we’ll be a better team.
