What a result! Unbelievable!
I had vowed to myself not to follow match days as we approach the drop, but I did, and enjoyed it. Commentaries all gave the impression we were playing like champions, and there was only a slight worry as we went into the last 5 minutes of added time.
BBC gave every single Saints player that stepped on to the pitch high scores - not seen that for years!
The substitutions were all in good time, and even if we were all somewhat concerned with some of them the Sky bloke understood what he was doing - putting willing runners on the pitch to take advantage of the gaps opening up as Chelsea went for broke. Again - long time since we had a manager that did things people understood!
If we continue to play like this, we can beat anyone, and stay up. If we play like a bag of unwashed clothes against Leeds, we will not.
91/92 under Branfoot.
Iâm wrong and pissed (been in Parsons Green pub). I was remembering a Zenith Data away win. It was 87/88.
You should have kept quiet, nobody was likely to check
Couldnât live with myself.
I didnât say anything - the tater on the stream I watched mentioned the right dates but theyâre usually fucknuts so could have been wrongâŚ.
Spent the afternoon in Soton General with Bucks Senior.
Needed some good news afterwards⌠GTFI
Sorry to hear. Hope heâs ok.
Thanks K. Sadly cancer is taking hold very fast and it may not be long before it wins overall.
I tried hard to tell him the result today and I like to think he heard
KiN ell.
Never in doubt! Written in the stars in fact!
Itâs hard mate. Dad-Bucks knows youâre there and care.
Chelsea player laid on the floor had a fantastic view of that while lazing about.
Well the players seemed to have fight and passion today. The sort I have not seen for a while. The manager seems to have the players onside. Maybe we should give him the job until the end of the season and take it from there. I cannot see us getting anyone better?
One swallow doesnât make a pornstar. But I suspect heâll end up in charge for the rest of the season anyway, and weâll start looking properly at replacements in the break. Nobody any good is going to come here on a short contract with us pretty much nailed on to go down whatever they do.
