:efl: Championship :saints: Saints v Queens Park Rangers :qprfc:

Odds are worse than shit
3/10 on saints to win

I hesitate to suggest this, but you could do a lot worse than betting the other way. I mean, I know you won’t do it. But money’s money, and it’s always worth remembering Southampton FCs capacity to fuck up royally in the face of all the odds.

And how shit at home we are, and how we are selling 66.6% of our forward line.

That is never going to happen.

And I only ever put money against Pompey :rofl:

Last week we looked very light in midfield, this week we will be well stocked.

This week we will probably look very light upfront.

Roll on September 1st.

Tall Paul! Taller than any Paul around!

Mara and Ballard are the other more likely options if anything happens to Adam Armstrong or he’s playing in midfield.

Think we’ve seen the last of Tall Paul.

Did we see the beginning of him if so I cannot remember him doing much

Adams off then :rage:

Has our new forward line scored yet?

There’s going to be a lot of expectation on Alcaraz and Adam Armstrong for goals. Maybe Stu as well.

ABK on the bench, to show suitors he is fit I presume.

Downes on for Stephens who’s crocked

Edozieeeee!

… and we come within a whisker of conceding immediately after scoring.

Again.

That is huge for the lad!

And there we go.

There must be some weakness oppositions are identifying.

As i said when it happened last week, so fucking predictable.

Is it something to do with having 99.99% possession, or whatever it is? Then the oppo simply capitalise on starting from the halfway line with numbers forward??

So far this season we are conceding 70% of shots on target against us.

We are converting around 33% of our shots on target.

Edioze and KWP apart, and Stu a bit, we are slow and ponderous in attack. Manning looks shite. Panic stations when they attack.

No change from last season then
