Play-offs it is then. Can’t see us catching Leeds but can’t see us dropping out of the top 6 either.
Yeah WBA are 11 points behind us…
You just had to say that didn’t you
Absolute shit.
Cup game could be embarrassing

Trouble on Britannia Road
for our brave boys
Shame that. Bit of a job to catch Leeds and Ipswich now, particularly when in a bit of poor form. It isn’t over for auto’s and there could be some more twists and turns to come, but probably unlikely now. Need to aim for play offs with anything else a bonus. Could do with RM not dicking around with players / formations though.

Jack Stephens is the answer
We were behind the goal, and I called it a penalty as soon as it hit him. Possibly it did hit his face but I can see why the pen was given, it looked nailed on in real time.
That said, I can only think KWP must be knobbing the ref’s wife or something. He was getting mauled ragged by the Millwall defenders all afternoon and never a foul given, much less a card.
Edozie had a poor game. Saw loads of the ball, but I can’t remember him actually beating a man and getting a decent cross in. Sulemana made a difference on the left when he came on, but far too little and far too late.
Well that was an immensing frustrating watch. All that possession and created very few real chances.
Utterly boring and predictable I would say. I actually nodded off for a bit in the 2nd half.
I was there.
We started well with confidence, aggression and bravery on the ball. Edozie skinned his opponent twice, then got beaten once and never tried it again. Fraser was the intelligent link. When he went off, it all got too predictable. Bazunu messed up for the first goal. Looked tentative as to whether he was catching on punching and did neither. From where I was it lookedike an og punched into his own net. That dented confidence but we did fight back. Che was good and deserved his goal. Everyone around me thought we’d then go on and win. Opinion was split on the pen. I couldn’t really see but I think he’d have struggled to get out of the way. Not helped by us being refused at least one good shout and the ref bottling second yellows. They should have not finished the game with 11 men. The second goal damaged us more than the first. We were working towards taking control and that fell apart. We became far too predictable. No shots from distance, always the same build up. The long ball to Che was working: he was holding up well and creating quick chances. Taking him off was a big mistake. In fact the subs were nearly all wrong. Aribo was a threat. Rothwell? By the end, there were no ideas. No creative running. I think we had four decent chances in the whole game. One saved, one feeble shot, one weak header and one goal. I agree with those who’ve said we’ve messed around too much with the core team to rest players and give others game time. Play your best team and sub them if they are knackered. And we obviously miss Downes (and Fraser too now). I’d agree we got a bad deal from the ref
RM has fallen into the trap of thinking he’s got to give everyone game time.
I’m sure Lord Slowlane and the Slowlane Massive will be holding their own. He may be a little long in the tooth these days, but his Lordship was a living legend on the terraces back in the day, running amok at the Archers Road end with his shaven head, chinos, Ben Sherman shirt with red braces and size 12 Doc Marten cherry reds. Oh yes!
Just and liiiiiiiiiiiiitle wide of the mark there @Nottarf-Krap, my Bubble Perm (remember KK) wouldn’t have gone down well at the Archers. I was always a Milton boy and although I had a violent streak it ran subservient to the bright yellow one down the middle of my back.
