Bazunu may not have got a touch on that at the end but he caused some chaos at least. He needed to contribute because once again two goals have gone through him.
What I do want to add, Preston are dog shit. We should be beating crap teams like that if we have ambitions to get out of this league. But at least we didn’t lose to them in the end.
Aint no way we are going up auto this season. Might spawn a play off place / win if we are lucky as fuck. Conceding goals is the big problem and that wont get any better under Martin, but we will get some entertaining games.
It’s like cumming premature on a porn set! Put your match report in early did you.
Criticism is fine, and opinion too but more than often you have very little on the positive scale to say.
We aren’t playing like world beaters yes but we are still in and about the right place. At least we are not outside the promotion places languishing near the foot.
Come one brother! Life can be good on the odd occasion, let’s start there!
These spawney late goals dont help though… they just paper over cracks and Martin’s limitations. I am normally a glass half full bloke, but if I can see it with my shit football brain, why the fuck cant SR? OK so the 150m in sales will have gone hopefully on clearing some of the debt, but even I could have told them that with the squad we had left, we needed a decent tactically astute manager to deliver on its potential…. not someone who is limited
Nice that we’re playing right to the end of matches and getting late goals to keep the points ticking over. But if we keep conceding at the rate of 2 a game we will slide down the table pretty fucking quick.
Bazunu did not make the mistakes that led to the goals. The first was caused by a weak headed clearance and the second by us giving the ball away, as usual.
The equaliser at the end was a clear Bazunu header right in front of me. I think it was going in anyway before Evans touched it.
I’m finding it very disappointing that we’re shipping goals and not beating this level of opposition.
Genuinely apart from the Leicester and Leeds games the only player who’s faced us that I’ve ever heard of (rapists aside) is Ruben Vinagre; on paper we’ve still got a “just about survive in the Prem” level squad…
I’m sorry, but that’s bollocks. The attitude of the squad is fine. It’s the ability you can question.
Last season we had a Championship side in an ever-improving Premier League. We are now weaker than last year and will win some and lose others. If you remember 06/07 season under Burley we were just the same and scraped into the play-offs. Hope for the same.
