Commentary dont have a watch, think we are into extra time lolz

Leeds win, the only scrap of comfort is Ipswich are only drawing at Stoke.

7 minutes added…

1 - 1 FT

thats not enough we need at least another 20 mins

And at least another 17 attempts to get a shot in the net

And the schadenfreude of “Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham” losing yet again.

Well, at least we didn’t lose ground. But given the way we dominated that match it can only be seen as a chance missed.

He can’t last much longer, surely.

Well Ipswich will be gutted as they couldn’t score against 10 man Stoke for the last 25 minutes. They’re on a shit run…long may that continue.

I’m sure there’s a double entendre in there somewhere @scotty

Unbeaten is good but…we should be winning these games.

Forget Leicester, nobody’s getting them out of the top two come season’s end. But Ipswich, we have a chance of displacing.

Ipswich have Sunderland and Leicester in their next 2 league games, good chance to overtake them :lou_sunglasses:

Who’s keeping Will Smallbone out of the side? Surely not Aribo. And what’s the point of bringing Alcaraz on to replace Stuart Armstrong,(who’s been piss poor for the last few games), with 30 seconds to go. For all our domination we had no creativity in the final third, to be honest we never looked like scoring until the scrambled A Armstrong goal. Norwich always looked likely to snatch an equalizer, and I wouldn’t have been surprised if they went on and got a winner. I know we’ve been spoilt with the results and performances in the past dozen or so games, but today was like a return to the bad old Saints. The balance and creativity of the side has been disrupted by the leaving out of Smallbone and the return of the pedestrian Stevens. IMO.

I get that Stephens is our Captain, but he is not a Full Back that fits in our system. As such we lost a huge amount of creativity down that right side in the 1st half. He should have been bombing down overlapping KWP and he has neither the speed nor skill for that.
That was a tactical mistake.

Our central 3 midfield Downes stayed central but Aribo was basically trying to do the job Stephens shoould have been capable of doing so when we manouvered the ball to the edge of their box there was no oncoming midfielder.

A tactical flaw imho Stephens had a good game, just should not have started

Still not seen a fucking win :unamused:

For all the possession we didn’t create anything like enough. Aribo was poor and the side looked devoid of ideas. Edozie and KWP got kicked around the park. The ref was behind the game much of the time. Good atmosphere though and my little nephew who came with us now has an expanded vocabulary :grinning:

We limp on …
