By their standards they weren’t great but we didn’t let them reach those levels.
We just did things when they needed doing. We won headers, second balls, got a toe in when needed, the keeper claimed crosses and was quick off his line.
The Sky commentator said it was more or less a perfect performance from us. He wasn’t wrong. Ralph used to say the same thing.
