Is this Peter Kay when he’s doing his wryly-observed Channel 4 specials (I thought the ice cream van war episode was genius), or is he just doing his “play to the crowd” remembering act?
I’ve got a lot of admiration for his more considered stuff. The man has a rarish talent for being able to laugh at his roots without pissing on them. Don’t like him as a standup.
Loved the final scene in the car with the labels on their heads. Only saw the last couple so need to download the earlier episodes. Wasnt a fan before but loved this from what I have seen.

Thankfully not his stand up which I don’t like much either. Just a car share with a colleague and their friendship blossoming. Some laugh out loud moments.
