Well played…rode our luck a little but we had a couple of really good chances we should have buried.
First 10 minutes of the second half is always a vulnerable time for us. We need to keep doing the right thing, continuing the defensive concentration from the first half, finding our mid-field with clearances rather than the panicy big punt upfield.
McCarthy can be pleased with his performance. He’s actually held onto the ball a few times. I thought parrying was compulsory at Saints.
