Very good piece. A few bits stood out.

Yes, the references to the Salem witch hunts is so true and relevant to what’s going on with the attacks on Corbyn.
There is a famous story about Lyndon Johnson. Back in 1948, during his first race for the US Senate, Johnson was running about 10 points behind in the polls, with only nine days to go. He was sunk in despair and becoming increasingly desperate. He called his campaign manager and instructed him to call a press conference for just before lunch on a slow news day and accuse his high riding opponent, a pig farmer, of having routine carnal knowledge of his barnyard sows, despite the pleas of his wife and children. His campaign manager was shocked, ‘We can’t say that Lyndon’, he reportedly said, ‘You know it’s not true’. ‘Of course it’s not true!’ Johnson barked at him. ‘But let’s make the bastard deny it!’

A very talented Russian employee of mine from Dubai, dreamt of getting a British Passport.
She qualified for a residency visa via the highly skilled process.
She was transferred & promoted to our UK office.
After 4 years of high performance & earnings, she could apply for a passport.
That took a further 12 months. She now has that passport.
Why do I mention this? Because you utter fucktard, she had to undertake THREE Exams. One on English language to get her visa and then two more for her passport. English language AND English history/culture.
So that requirement already exists you prick

He got a German passport last year. He had to take a language exam.
It is the law across Europe, not just UK
The kids both speak Arabic from living in Dubai and Tagalog (Filipino) from living here me I am afraid speak English but can order food beer and extra’s in about 9 different languages
