I’m surprised @scotty hasn’t come back with a witty reply to this
Phew 2 - 2 FT
I really thought we’d pinch that.
Anyone else prefer us playing our better football in the second half, instead of our previous cunning ploy of a having a blinding first half then folding in the second when the points get awarded?
I’ll settle for that after being 2-0 down. And we’ve reached the magic 40 points.
I’ll take that.
but some shockingly bad play - from both sides
One must hope he asks the right questions to Beckham the Blessed when they finally fall into each others arms.
e.g. I don’t think he should bring up the claims made by the terraces about Beckham the Blessed’s wife.
Did I miss much …
Another 3 goals - A comeback from 2:0 down with 2 from JWP
Some shite football from both sides tbh.
Keepers are getting wise to him going top left (as he looks at it) so they cover that side and put the wall on the other. But this went straight through the wall at waist height.
A great duck nudge by Romeu when seen from behind the goal to make the gap bigger.
Survived the beer and the game and enjoyed both. Beer was higher quality but was pleased to see our commitment after the break. Even if we did leave ourselves open. We were unlucky not to win but lucky not to lose. Tino’s shot that hit the post then the keeper goes in 9 times out of 10. And it ricocheted just behind Che. Prowsy’s free kick was critical and gave us momentum fur the second half. Their disallowed goal at the end was very tight.
And Tino is totally buggered. I’m guessing it’s the knee he’s been nursing and now it’s gone completely. He needed oxygen on the pitch and clearly in agony. Looks like an op and up to 12 months
This from Sky…how fuckin’ annoying is this…
“Brighton throw away two-goal lead to continue their winless run at home; James Ward-Prowse scores two stunning strikes for Saints; on-loan Chelsea defender Tino Livramento stretchered off with “very serious” knee injury”
Damn lucky to get a point out of that!
Wouldn’t say so. We were better than them for most of the second half
You’d think they’d fact check a simple thing like who owns a player.
Stroppy email now sent.
Their disallowed goal in the second half was offside by millimetres, our defence was wide open. We were lucky there.
That’s true but we were unlucky too with Tino’s shot that hit the post and the keeper but the ricochet missed the goal and Che
