:pl: :brentfordfc: Brentford v Saints :saints:

The closing games of this season have seen two first for me:

  1. Walking out of St Marys before the hour mark.
2 Turning off the radio commentary after 14 minutes.

Believe it or not I’m the optimist who has renewed his season ticket before the beginning of May. I’m sorry to say Ralph has to go. :frowning:

I’m a huge Hassenhutl fan but the form is shocking and you couldn’t blame the club for sacking him but who would come in?
The players are shite in the main and I doubt there is a lot to spend, we’re not really going places are we?

The team, or our fans?

The forum?

The city in general?

Just heard him interviewed on 5Live - sounded really dejected and seemed to hedge a bit when asked if he’s up for the sack.

I doubt he’ll be sacked with two games to go. More likely replaced in the summer “by mutual consent”.

Both.

I’ve been a big advocate of Ralph over the last few years, my avatar is sentiment to that. But I feel he has been limited by lack of true ambition in the transfer market (Gao didn’t help with this), especially in January when other teams strengthen and refresh (KWP on loan doesn’t count). I think he has taken us as far as he can, we’ve had some good runs under him (going top of the league last year and 9 games unbeaten earlier this season) but the bad runs are more devastating. I think it’s time for him to move on, before the fans turn on him too much :lou_sad:

The fact that most of his tenure has been during the Gow years hasn’t helped. He’s done well on a small budget but the pinchpenny years have finally caught up with him.

If he’s going to stay then he’s going to have to sit down with the new owner and work out what they are offering each other.

When did Broja last score? He looks the part, bullies the defenders, has the pace but his finishing is abysmal. I know he’s still young but I can’t help thinking it’s a triumph of hype over reality. As a goal scoring striker he’s really not that good.

Pretty sure @Goatboy is one of the luckiest Saints fans going.
Besides being married to the wonderful Mrs GB.
He should have been on a plane during that nightmare

After that third went in, they panned to Ralph on the touchline.

His expression looked for all the world like Daniel Craig’s Bond when confronted with the villain. :joy::joy:
