:gov: Boris Johnson is Still the Prime Minister

Quarter of a mil a year which he infamously described as “chicken-feed”

Welcome to the Borisconi age.

Because Labour are the official opposition.

Talking of laughs

What is this United Labour Party of which you speak

It was a secret vote, so apart from those who’ve publicly voted against Johnson I reckon the whips will struggle to find a single MP who’ll admit to having done so.

Rory Stewart tweeted that if you take out the “payroll” votes of MPS who owe their position to his patronage, then 75% of the back bench voted against him

United my arse.

I gave up my membership. I still have not seen any evidence of policies for Labour. I have not seen any serious campaigning to capitalise on this terrible Tory leadership.

I don’t know what Labour stand for, all I know at the moment is that they are not this shower in power.

Come on Labour strike now!

It all reminds me of Monty Python. “It’s really happening”

REG: Right! This calls for immediate discussion!

JUDITH: Reg, for God’s sake, it’s perfectly simple. All you’ve got to do is to go out of that door now, and try to stop the Romans’ nailing him up! It’s happening, Reg! Something’s actually happening, Reg! Can’t you understand?! Ohhh!

Well they did not hang around with their email!

Give the man a break - he does have wallpaper to buy, after all.

I don’t do Politics tbh, not been eligible to vote for 29 years, but tonight I am wondering how, in a vote affecting the population of the UK, any Government Minister can believe that Tweeting words to the effect “you’ll upset 23 rich people” can be healthy for a Democracy

I guess they’ll have to come down hard on all of them :man_shrugging:t3:

Fucking hell, the Mail.

Smirking Stamer’s Coalition of Chaos?

I bet even their readers are thinking “what?!”.

Or “what about Boozy Boris and his cavalcade of cunts?”

Labour are in a interesting position - they have a shot at power but only in coalition with the SNP.

The SNP are going to want one thing to play along - Independence or at least a vote on it

If Labour give them their hearts desire and grant them independence, they are unlikely ever to see the inside of no10 again

Thing is Boris has now got 12 months grace to get away with even more things, can’t see there being a load of by-elections in the meantime that would lose them their 80 seat majority.

The only thing that the 148 can do is repeatedly vote against Tory policies, ain’t going to happen.
