Funnily enough i was reading the original article earlier. Among other gems was the revelation that from the financial data publicly available, 4.6 billion pounds of aggregate short positions on a no deal Brexit have been taken out by hedge funds that directly or indirectly bankrolled Boris Johnson’s leadership campaign.Another 3.7 billion of these short positions have been taken out by firms that donated to the vote leave campaign. So currently 8.3 billion of aggregate short positions have been taken out by hedge funds connected to the Prime Minister and his vote leave campaign, run by his advisor Dominic Cummings, on a ‘no deal’ Brexit.
No conflict of interests here then!

I see there are more revelations today about Johnson’s relationship with the pole dancer, even speculation the the old bill may become involved. This is clearly not going to go away. Ms Arcuri’s company hosted a 2012 event when Johnson was mayor of London at which Johnson and far right figurehead Milo Yiannopoulos were the headline speakers. Public funding, overseen by Johnson to a company providing a platform for somebody like Yiannopoulos, who is way to the right of far, former editor of Breitbart, banned from facebook and just about all social media for hate speech.Taxpayers cash to fund the alt-right. Also appears that she accompanied Johnson on far more official mayoral business trips than has been admitted too. Apparently Bonkin Boris has protested that he popped round to her flat in Shoreditch, where she had a dancing pole installed in the front room, on a regular basis because she was giving him computer lessons. Hahaha. Also Golden boy Johnny Mercer’s nice little earner from the same source is causing panic, there could not be a clearer conflict of interests, not to say corruption. But let’s face it, no collars will be felt, it will all be bullshitted away and on to the next one.

Nobody put their hand out,
Nobody took a bribe,
Nobody was compromised
By acts you could describe.

Nobody got away with it,
Nobody thought they could,
And all of them were honest men,
And all of them were good.

Nobody bought a cabinet,
Whatever you may hear,
And all of them were honest men,
And all were in the clear.

Nobody did a secret deal,
Nobody was for sale,
Nobody bent the rules at all,
And nobody went to jail.

And all of them were honest men,
As white as driven snow,
And all lived on a higher plane,
And s**t on those below.- Roger Woddis

It will all go easy when Boris delivers Brexit.

At my partner’s parent’s for the weekend. Tory voting usually although I think really more Libdem if they thought about it a bit.
His father knew Johnson senior in the past so never a fan of the family at all.
Even he was reading out a jokey "tory conference timetable"in the Times today. Not so Blue leaning now.

Who are they voting for, if you don’t mind me asking?

I think more lib dem than tory might be a clue.

We haven’t got into that. We asked last time and they said they weren’t sure. They voted remain. We are in Tory countryside who won by a huge majority. 2nd were Labour and 3rd Lib dems last election. So who knows.

Andrew Marr just asked bozza if he would make a deal with nigel farage and the brexit party in the imminent upcoming general election (I’m assuming that means a coalition to form a majority government), johnson’s reply was that ‘‘the conservative party was the oldest and best party and doesn’t do deals with other parties’’, do the deals with the lib dems and the dup not count? Or am I missing the point?

The deal being discussed by Farage, I believe, is that they carve up the constituencies in such a way that makes no deal possible - Brexit Party not splitting the Brexit vote by cannibalising Tory votes.

I believe Farage would first want a commitment from Johnson that he will deliver a no deal Brexit if the Tories were returned to office.

Well, I’m shocked.
