We have banned female genital mutilation in this country despite it being part os some religious bollocks, but for some reason Government wont outlaw circumcision of babies?? (afraid of being labelled anti-semitic no doubtâŚ)
We see to be afraid of acknowledging that freedom of speech creates a paradox, and dealing with it practically⌠For me the simplest way of dealing with it is that if what shite you spout incites violence, hate, bigotry, etc, then you forfeit your right to spout it.

To those that are interested, Donald Trump, I do not read any of your lunatic Twitter posts, and on Sotonians I quickly scroll past any thread where I see Barry posting.
If I know the thread is infected, I will not read it. Perhaps I am being unreasonable, but in the current state of affairs I can really do without this shit.

I get it perfectly, I only go on threads where there is discourse.
I have never down voted nor objected to a moderator ever as that would be me a hypocrite.
I am never personal without knowing the person or personal without trying to nudge humour in there (I try).
Contrary to popular and widespread belief I donât infest all threads, the proof is there for everyone to see.
When I didnât post on here for 2/3 weeks I suspect there wasnât a swathe of new posters out there.
If you want an echo chamber then I understand but I would hope that people are a tad more open minded than that.
Today has shown me that people really are quite ignorant concerning things they are supposed to be knowledgeable and passionate about, that to me is frightening and also worrying considering they want to stifle debate on only things they want to stifle as it agrees with their views.
That is also worrying for me and I am not too sure about this place if it stays like this, thatâs not tolerance and freedom of views and expression, its compliance.
