Iâm on Facebook and Twitter. I use the former purely with friends and family, although increasingly we communicate via private WhatsApp groups.
Perversely, my only reason for being on Twitter was as an exercise in following Trumpâs machinations, the unquestioning adoration of his cult, spotting bots: the psychology of it. Itâs scary how easy it is to post utter lies and pseudo-scientific data and have hundreds of thousands lapping it up without question, especially when followers feel they are being spoken to directly by their idol.

The removal is justified because of a simple word⌠accountability. Freedom of speech comes with responsibility for the impact and outcomes of your voice. If what you say incites hate, violence and criminal activity, then it should be silenced. That includes extremist religious views IMHO or doctrine that causes bodily harm etc, spread shit about genital mutilation being necessary both male and female⌠etc.
You cant simply spout whatever you like with impunity, if the shit you spout is encouraging others to commit such actions. Has fuck all to do with censorship

Absolutely. If you stood on a box at Speakerâs Corner spouting racial hatred or other such bollocks you would be escorted away by the boys in blue. Why should have have impunity on a much larger social platform. Trumpâs account should have been shut down long ago.
