Every American I have met outside of the US of A has always voted for the Republicans. Why do you think that is?
I voted for Clinton. And I was not voting for the lesser of two evils. I thought she would be a very good president. In fact, I voted for her over Obama and Edwards in the 2008 California Democratic Primary.

Yes. There is no reason for him not to. He is undoubtedly more likely that any prior president–except probably Franklin Roosevelt in his fourth term–not to see out his full four year term.

I think a significant majority of Americans believe that, although few would use the word 'dodgy." I might given my over exposure to Englandiness over the past several years.
Clinton got more total votes that Trump and many Americans did not vote. I suspect few of the non-voters trusted Trump’s promises.

Assuming this is not a completely off topic joke, I do not believe a wall is likely, but increased expensive border security is. Trump will call that the Wall. I would say it is obvious Mexico is not going to pay for the wall, but maybe Trump will find a way to extort some money from them to pay for it by threatening to shut down the border, withdraw from NAFTA, or criminalize remitances from Mexicans in the US to their families back in Mexico. This is a whole new world. The normally ridiculous and the formerly impossible may not be anymore.

Due to my transformation into a Southampton FC fan, I have stopped watching or following the NFL. That being said, I think it is likely that two point conversions have a higher expected point return than one point conversions. See this

I suspect your personal experiences don’t rise to the level of statistical significance but I think your experience is probably typical. Why? Many Americans outside the USA are in the military which tends to be more conservative and more republican that the country as a whole. Other American traveling in foreign lands are either tourists who tend to be wealthier than average or business travelers for whom that is even more true. The remaining large group is likely to be expartriates who are unhappy with something about the country. That group would also trend Republican–if they even cared about US politics at all.

You suspect wrong then Redslo over 33 years does give me some sort of statistical significance. I don’t believe I have met any so called Democrats from Europe to the middle east and now the far east.
Correct in your assumption that most of these are business personnel or military but the expats who still pay taxes also vote republican as the party of lower taxes. The ones that are not paying US taxes are basically just hoping not to be found.

Really thick question and I apologise for showing my ignorance.
How much power does the president actually have? Are their robust failsafes that can stop somone effectively turning into a dictator as soon as they get the keys to the whitehouse. What I’m really getting at is if the president wanted to start a war with a random small country just to flex his muscle - what could government do to intervene and debate it ?
In light of the USA’s 4-0 defeat by Costa Rica and are bottom of the 6 team group what are the odds on them qualifying for the next world cup and will your foreign coach be deported
