I wouldn’t call you a cunt Pap, you might have noticed I am far more inventive than that. However, what are the rules? They seem to change to suit you. Like the freedom of speech that you hold so dear, right up until you delete threads “that your daughter might not approve of” or “would make our best poster look bad to new posters”. Can I insult you or do I have to keep stuff like that to the non stick, wipe clean surface of the beef thread?

Btw, wasn’t expecting you to admit you were wrong. If you won’t admit you are wrong about your claim the Lee Ridgy murder was staged, I in no way expected you to admit you were wrong about an over reaction.

Where to start? It’s a proper soap opera.

Part 1

pap was banned from The Saints Web for being, well, pap. He’s really good at being pap. Some say he’s the best at it. Others say that’s because nobody else wants to be pap. He’s like a marmite and slug repellant sandwich. Some people really hate him and others just hate him. Fortunately, pap doesn’t have any forthright opinions or controversial views, otherwise he would be forum-punched non-stop.

Tokyo-Saint (AKA Toke, Tokes and ****) is a cross-dressing Muslim from Scotchland. He used to post on The Saints Web (AKA The Other Place). He had a bromosexual affair with Bearsy (real name Dr Brain Earsy - Bearsy is therefore a contraction) and they had a child called Cheese on Toast.

Bear and Toke were two of the original posters on sotonians and Toke was quite instrumental in getting things moving in the early days.

Tokyo-Saint (don’t forget the hyphen) is so-called because he was extradited from Japan (Tokyo is Japan’s capital city) under Operation Yewtree. I’m Toke’s forum father and I look like the butler from Downtown (sic) Abbey.

Halo is the drunk that used to live in the bus stop in the Muppet Show. He has a soft spot for me and we’ve always been concerned that if we were to ever meet, he might have a hard spot for me. Halo has been off the forum for a while, but is being very enigmatic about why. Today, Halo turns up and so does Toke. It’s a momentous occasion that makes me want to reach…for the bunting.

Toke and His papship used to love each other lots and lots x x x. But then Tokyo-Saint said something about…well I won’t go there, but papster didn’t like it and now they are mortal enemies.

In true soap opera fashion, I’m friends with pap and I’m friends with Toke.

So it’s a real dilemma for me.

Actually, fuck that. pap pays my wages* and Toke’s a ****.**

I hope that’s cleared up some of the history.

I’ll let someone else write Chapter 2. Bear’s quite good at that sort of thing.

I suppose that’s one interpretation. I can certainly see why it is yours.

I wasn’t impressed with your comments on a certain issue. I certainly wasn’t impressed with being trolled via DM with a pitiful argument supporting your cause. I don’t know. Maybe you troll all your mates about this sort of thing. Personally, not my cup of tea.

I’ve got no problem with publishing the entire exchange if you haven’t. I think that’s probably a better option at this point than the wounded Tokes summarisation.

I would inform sir of the concept of linear time. All the things you mention that actually happened did so in a certain order. Yeah, we started out pandering to certain interests, but things evolved. It’s all here on the site.

You’ll have to remind me what it was I deleted, but I’d suggest having a re-read first. Unless you hold the position that it’s a crime to change your mind, then there’s no contradiction. All of those changes happened organically and they’re all still here for people to read.

I agreed at the time. Trolls are good for traffic, if nowt else, and I appreciate the value of them. After running this place for a year, I’m less sold on their importance, but it’s nice to have a competent one for a change.

It was a misunderstanding Pap, I wasn’t trying to troll you. In fact the reason I DM’d you was to avoid trolling, to take it away from the main thread on the subject so as not to move that one thread away from it’s importance. This is not something I would usually do.

The point of my DM was to highlight the hypocrisy of one set of fans, who are holier than now when it suits them but have more than enough of their own scum bags doing stuff similar to what they criticise other teams (one other team in particular) for doing. You are married to a red and are definitely a closet red. I bet you even like the Lallana nivea on the sly. You flipped your lid and started with the insults. I took it for a bit but then snapped back at you. As I told you I was actually in a good mood and playing with my kid. You said something about me and him (I still don’t understand what) and I thought “Fuck this little goth cunt flap, he can suck my fat one”. This may have been an over reaction but I am not going to sit there while you unloads.

There was also a bit where you thought I was attacking the whole city instead of the fans of a single team but by that point you couldn’t backtrack and admit you were wrong. It was your Lee Rigby thread all over again and there was no going back. When you did come back the next day with a “oh hi yeah, alright? I have a quick temper but I am an arrogant knob who sets the rules so I also set when we make friends” I thought fuck you.

I don’t think you want resolution, tho’ skip - and as I’ve said - I’ll handle whatever you throw at me.

I’ve always posted under the username pap. I’ve always linked that identity to my public one. It’s all out there. If people want to stop posting here on the basis of me not making an apology to a group of people that in hindsight, have turned out to be less impressive than their self-billing demanded, that’s your lookout too.

Personally, I reckon you’re doing yourself up more in these posts more than me. Those DMs were a revelation to me, skip, and you’re replicating that form here.

I’m happy to reproduce them in full if you are.

Cool Tokyo - appreciate there are “tensions”

Have generally found Sotonians to be a friendly, welcoming, informative forum - albeit with a healthy streak of piss-taking and profanity…rather than the venom of other places.
