Sure I can follow the old chat room ‘rule’ of if you don’t like the content then stay out of the conversation, but some things just piss me off and pisstake out of things some folks give the impression they actually understand is one them.
For example… all the trans/pronoun/ self identify stuff….One of the leading causes of teenage suicide has been confusion over sexuality and gender. How is greater awareness, understanding and integration of these things as normal part if the human spectrum a bad thing? Anything that means fewer kids and their parents have to go through that is good in my book
Sure, for me I dont give a flying fuck about pro nouns and the like in part because I dont believe language or its use defines me, but also all language evolves so at end of the day it really deos not matter… to me. BUT it obviously matters for some and If its an important part of some peoples identity then why should it bother me?
Issues over gender in sport or safe spaces etc are genuine discussion points but this thread seems more concerned with the ‘laugh’ this generates.
This has nothing to do with self appointed arbiter bollocks, its simply an observation on reading this thread… IMHO its not a ‘great look’ for this board
