You’re not insulting me by referring to my debating style as naturally aggressive. Fuck, most things I do are done the same way (don’t play me at poker). It’s not going away, but you’ve also got to take into account that I put up with a lot more shit than other people with a smile. We’ve lost three people that used to post often. We can discuss them if you want, but you know the circumstances behind each one as well as I do. Ex-Trader was bullied off by Remainers. The other two you could just about pin on me, particularly Lou when I defended Jack Schitt’s post. In hindsight, no regrets about that. Don’t have any regrets about Furball either.
I don’t ascribe any qualities to anyone based on how they voted in Brexit, unlike many people here. I am disappointed with the quality of debate that has followed. I’m frankly amazed that people have forgotten all the other politics that people have.
That’s the sort of negative campaigning I’m referring to, unless you think that me doorstepping someone and trying to change their vote by suggesting they’re hormonal, selfish or racist is the way forward.

I never accused anyone of being racist - Tramps accused me of insinuating it… which was not true, I insinuated he was being xenophobic because of his statement with repsect to foreign workers and have given plenty of encouragement to counter and present a different conclusion… none of which have been forthcoming - I see nothing wrong with that or pulling someone up If what they are saying suggests a xenophobic rational… I am also totally happy to apologise and admit I am wrong/mistaken if that is the case, but nothing that has been said in this debate suggests that I am …so far.

There have been a group of refuseniks having a go at self-proclaimed Leave voters, to a greater or larger extent, since the referendum result was actually announced. I can’t wait to do the end of year awards again, to see how many downvotes I attracted just for positing a different political opinion in the last month.

It is this countries shame… and many predicted this would happen on such a result which is why I am so angry about it. For me, somethings are worth being selfless about and doing what is right for teh good of the many, even if it means compromising some personal principles…its a difficult choice, I appreciate that, but when we see this sort of thing, I am even more convinced that this country made the worng one…
