What has being foreign got to do with anything?
You like buns, puddings and cakes that’s all I know.

How can he move out? Buy a car? Go on holiday? That’s surviving not living, surely we are better than that after all these years of advocating capitalism?
That £354 is based on him moving out.
I assume he’ll do what most people do, and move out of London the more money he earns. He’s not going to earn £21k his whole life. Until he moves out he won’t need a car so a bit irrelvant atthe moment.
Ha. So anyone who isn’t literally either on the street or starving jolly well isn’t struggling and ought to be voting against their own interests in national referenda and elections out of pure self-sacrifice?
Laughable.

And the rest. Remember that Cherts is a member of the rentier class.
What are you on about, I haven’t said where I spend any of my money? I said I give myself £450 a month disposable income (ie to spend on what he will be spending on).
Colour me surprised.
Interesting how the selfishness of the rich is pretty nakedly obvious when they aren’t able to cloak it under the guise of anti-racism.
Right, can we stop talking about my income. I severely regret putting anything down on here now. All I was trying to prove was that £354 for a disposable income is actually pretty fucking good.
Oh behave… you make a statement about all these foreigners ruining your chances and dont expect some questioning of your motives? that is not only naive, but stupid. You should be ashamed of bringing it up in the first place. Cowardly? nope I am not affraid to pull you up on this. Its cowardly to avoid it for fear of confrontation, but if you are suggesting all these foreigners are ruining your chances than its you who is cowardly…
Cowardly because you are blaming others for your restricted opportunities, Cowardly, because you dont think you need to take holidays to take part in more complex selection interviews… Jeez. You think this is down to the EU memebership???.. now you are just showing your inexperience and quite frankly stupidity…
That’s not struggling that’s wrong.
I have arrived at the sum of £354 after deducting rent, bills, food and work-essential travel.
You have arrived at £450 after (obviously) deducting far more than your rent/mortgage, bills, food and work-essential travel.
Not hard to grasp is it?
What about the people that do?

Meh, you introduced it. I think we’ve all established that you are considerably richer than MrTrampoline and have a different set of priorities.
No chance, you let that genie out of the bottle.
I know, my mistake.
I have never once said anything of the kind and frankly, there should be infractions or something along those lines for deliberate lies and slander.
I stay in touch with many of my old work colleagues and we meet up, play football and have a beer and a chat afterwards & ask each other how we’re all getting on. The simple fact however is that there are tonnes of us. The competitions is beyond the pail.
When a new employee entered my old £17k workplace we welcomed them to the fore because they were one of us, regardless of where they were from. The fact that admittedly, the presence of potential new employees willing to work for such a low salary meant that the employer had no reason to raise the salaries of the original batch of staff didn’t matter one jot of how Spaniard treated Italian treated English treated Frenchman etc. etc. But nevertheless, we were all in the same massive boat competing for a smaller and smaller supply of jobs.
You’re an utter coward who’s scared of addressing these issues and instead is attacking the straw man of racism. Never mind, its you who has to live with that. Not me.

That is the point some of made umpteen pages ago…, many do have to survive on this and support a family… yet here is a 26 year old with the potential to earn a lot more and most likely will once he grows up, complaining that he cant have it now and blaming this on competition foromm foreigners and the like, and the inconvenience of rigorous selection processes… whilst applying to companies that if he is successful will see him earn 70k+ before he is 30… living at home now with minimal overheads… there are just several on here who find this rather incredulous. As pointed out, this is the norm for many at that age and has fuck all to do with being in or out of tehe EU… simple really…
Mr T,
if you are still keen on your whole future being planned by people on here we will need more detail.
Could you take a day off and attend The Rockstone for a soft drink and an initial interview?
Just bring relevant documents, the girlfriend, so we can make a judgement on her too, and a list of goals you have set yourself.
Only then can the Sotonians Life Advice Committee come up with a workable and detailed career + personal path and financial projection for you to follow.
I probably will pop down to the Rockstone when I next get the chance. I can’t make Watford but I might manage Sunderland.
Be nice…
To be fair, they’ll surely give Moyes a chance first.
