Not sure about that. It is a lot of money to walk away from.
I think you are right, Liam Dawson has pretty much implied that he would be very unlikely to cancel his SA T20 contract,(worth £150,000) in favour of a tour place. he pointed out in interview that he is now 33, has not been offered any kind of contract with England, and has to look after his and his family’s interests. Realistically who could blame him, let’s face it there won’t be too many pay days like the SA one.
