Too true to be funny. :rage::rage::smile:

Me too, earlier this year. Spectacular.

Off to jersey

We are taking one case

“I have left you half a case” says the Ayatollah

I go up to find three pair of shoes on my land

“Oh and my hairdryer and make up bag needs to go in there“ drifts up the stairs

So that’s quarter of a case then

Quite looking forward to it

Got a rain coat?

We’re in Brizzle for the Balloon Festival. Motorhome camping. Pleasant evening, BBQ, more wine than balloons.

Not looking forward to the mandated 5:30 start tomorrow to see the early mass ascent :frowning::frowning:

Lovely time of year for the weather

Weather looks lovely. Pretty much the same up here on Merseyside, interesting watching the horse racing from Brighton in the pub earlier where they had to abandon because of a pea souper fog and driving rain. Strange times.

I bring good news for my readers. Next week I will be in a remote corner of the Lake District with no wifi, no phone signal and not even a tv.

And even if I venture to civilisation and find any of those, I shall pretend I haven’t.

Enjoy the peace.

Last day of our summer hols in Egypt. 2 nights in Cairo for the Pyramids and then 9 in Luxor for all the ancient stuff there.

Bastard hot and thankfully pretty quiet.

Oddly the highlight was having the SS Sudan (the boat Agatha Christie wrote ‘Death on the Nile’ on) stopped right outside our balcony and then the next day being moored next door. A cheeky ask and a few small notes exchanged, and we for a guided tour! Will definitely be looking to book a cruise on it to Aswan next year hopefully.

Mrs Dizzyfeet and Ms Dizzyfeet have thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Tomorrow is last half day at work ahead of Fam C_S fly n flop hol to Montenegro.

First holiday that Young Adult #1 hasn’t made but she’s off to Düsseldorf for 3 weeks doing PhD science stuff mixed with meeting friend in various German cities.

We have one of Young Adult #2’s mates taking the vacant Fam holiday slot - they’ll be out clubbing and boozing their way through it no doubt.

If you are near Porto Montenegro, there was a cracking little wine bar opposite the main jetty

Try the single varietal Bosnian orange wine :+1:

Enjoy mate. Spent some great time near Kotor in 2019 and visited a few places. Loved it

So, we’re off to Budva, well, a small village the other side of the bay (can’t remember name) but to walk to Budva it’s a 20min walk through a tunnel through the hills/mountain- I’ve had a couple of shandy’s so may have misheard - I hope.
