Went there 25 odd years ago
The Ayatollah and I were on a mega cheapo teletext allocation on arrival special to Rhodes
I have a vague memory of getting burnt to a cinder the day before and then having to wear jeans on the boat trip over there on what was the hottest day of the year

We went there for our honeymoon. Stayed in a village room overlooking the harbour. Very quiet apart from the middle of the day when the cruise boats from Rhodes came in. Great restaurant there - The Trawler - still exists.

We’re on a two week Norwegian and Iceland cruise at the end of June. Taking my camera of course so expecting some spectacular pictures. 
There certainly is.
Reykjavik is rather grey and cool and not ideal for photography but beautifully quiet. This is Hallgrimskirkja and the view from the 71m spire.

My son’s just been there on a school geography field trip. I was very jealous especially as I had to pay for it.
He really enjoyed himself except that there were no Northern Lights to see during the 4 days he was there.
Here you go - wot we saw in the Jan before 1st lockdown….
And they look nothing like that to the naked eye (i.e. underwhelming)
