Day 1 in Spain - we are in Jerez - sherry tour at Lustau over lunch. Excellent tour 8 decent sized glasses of sherry, everyone swaying by the end
Best bit was watching a stag party take their first drinks of the day after a night on the lash. The young dads had been especially strong out of the gates and were hanging out of their arses . V amusing
Now trying to sober up before the wine festival that we have somehow discovered

Currently on the roof terraces on the second bottle of white, a plate of mid afternoon charcuterie. Sun is out, the Ayatollah is content.
We went to Ronda this morning for a mooch about. It occurred to me we are following in the footsteps of Gordon Gino and Fred on their Spanish trip including that flamenco bar that we stumbled into by pure chance

We is coming to Blighty.
Laying my Sister to rest on 5th October in Coombe BIssett so as usual we will be having beers in Salisbury Friday and maybe Saturday.
No football it clashes and I wasn’t involved in date setting.
I expect to see none of you but at least we get back and have some Ales and say goodbye
