In sales this is called the “puppy dog” close.
Take it home, play with it, if you don’t want it then bring it back.
Half those dogs have just got a home for life

That sums my life up last 5 years…
One of these used to live on the wall outside a house I rented in Bangkok years ago. During the night they scream loudly, not unlike a human baby. A bit disconcerting until I got used to it. Very interesting creatures with superb camouflage.

They are called Tukus here and the mating call sounds like "fuk you fuk you"all night long.

The Thais call them Jing Joks. Amazing how loud they scream for such a relatively small creature. Despite the racket I have to say I’m rather fond of them.
I am very fond of them they eat flies, mosquitoes, other bugs. And when the missus starts whinging I hold my hand up for silence and wait for one to call.

The rig next to us saw a fishing net with rubbish in it floating close to them so went to remove it and found 5 turtles
I believe the turtle soup was very nice.
