Well being a “glass three quarters full man” I think Jack’s “change of direction” comment refers to our playing assets now being protected by long contracts rather than a take-over which if conducted properly would not change our direction.
Long contracts now mean we have more control over our “key” players and our hard stance on tapping-up is a warning to every other potential illegal poacher…we will not sit quietly and let it happen. I hope they will sqeeze LFC until the pips squeek.

What’s that tweet all about? Is he dreaming of what could have been or dreaming of his move? Or is he saying he has a lot to think about?
At least it’s not a Morgan style tweet but it is still disappointing. Gave him a 6 year contract and captaincy clearly with an agreement that he stay another year and then he does this. I hope he doesn’t start acting like a cunt, although I have very little faith in footballers.
