Before getting zapped by a Martian Heat ray

Think that’s a bit disingenuous, 3 Grand Slams and 2 Olympic golds isn’t that bad, especially if you consider the players who were around him at the time.

He was also World Number 1 at one point…

Who knew horse jumping could be so exciting…

In the grand scheme of things 3 isn’t great, really.

I don’t think excusing him for there being better players around at the same time is a good argument- if they weren’t the quality of the game would have been much lower.

Mind you I bow to his ability to hold a tennis bat properly - I certainly can’t.

GOLD!! Jolly good show, what!
Champion the wonder horses.

Meh, 2 time penalties, they could have done better…

9th gold with the one that Bryony won earlier in the bouncing with spinning…

You mean diving into a damp sponge.

and her best friend Chardonnay

UK should be world champions at bouncing seeing as you all have a new one in your garden after every gale

We’ve got 15 for sale on FB marketplace at the moment. Hoping for more strong winds once these lot have gone.

Don’t forget Araminta.

It is when you consider the top three on that table were the ones he had to play against. Those three are the greatest there’s ever been

See that the other dude has got through to the next round of womens boxing

My point being he wasn’t good enough to rise to the top then, maybe…

You are bei g a bit harsh… in any other era, I would suggest he would have won between 8-12 GS titles which is probably a fair reflection… And for him unlike Federa who was just a natural talent, He had to really work at his game to get better…
