In the grand scheme of things 3 isnāt great, really.
I donāt think excusing him for there being better players around at the same time is a good argument- if they werenāt the quality of the game would have been much lower.
Mind you I bow to his ability to hold a tennis bat properly - I certainly canāt.

My point being he wasnāt good enough to rise to the top then, maybeā¦
You are bei g a bit harshā¦ in any other era, I would suggest he would have won between 8-12 GS titles which is probably a fair reflectionā¦ And for him unlike Federa who was just a natural talent, He had to really work at his game to get betterā¦
