He did but we did a Saints and spent a lot of time passing the ball around the front of them. The finishing was a bit woeful too, especially in the first half. I get the argument about SM needed to play against better teams if they are ever to improve, but do they have the capacity to do so with such a small pool of players to chose from. There has been talk of them going through some kind of pre qualify with teams like Andorra but it could still mean that a hopeless team will end up in these group games.
England are there, so your point is beyond dispute.

It’s quite nice seeing Sterling throwing himself to the floor as usual, and a ref completely blanking him. Makes a pleasant change from the PL “big team” refs.
