What research went into this, I hear you ask ?
And interview with the Tory Party Chairman.
Yes the The cuntigraph… now of interest to purchase by a consortium headed by Steve Bannan - yes him that appears to encourage white supremacists and other racist fucktards ( mind you the Barclay bits seem just as weird…)
…because, I heard this morning (not read it), that he believes The Telegraph isn’t right-wing enough.
Aye, he believes he can turn it into an international brand of hate filled bile and despicable racist shit… maybe he should buy the Daily Mail instead given that he’s would have less to change…
Farage is not standing in the GE.
It looks like Nigel Farage is playing a blinder with the Tories here.
Not sure what the end result will be but with his “Boris’ deal isn’t Brexit” line, he’s completely fucking up all the re-positioning work that Cummings has carried out since Boris took charge.
Cummings was desperate to have the Tory party seen as THE party of Brexit and so end the hopes of the actual Brexit party. We’ve all helped Cummings with out outcry at all the things Johnson has said and done (repeat the date, dead in a ditch, proroguing, law breaking, removing the whip, etc.). Nobody could be in any doubt that the way to “Get Brexit done” is to vote Tory.
But what if the man who “invented” Brexit in the public’s eyes spends the election campaign telling his disciples exactly that “Boris’ deal is not Brexit”…
…what if he used his LBC radio show to promote that message?
…what if he used his election interviews to promote that message?
…what if he was willing to fall out with his mate Aaron Banks over promoting that message?
…and what if he took out full-page ads (in the Mail I think) to promote that message?
…and what if he does field candidates in every seat and they all promote that message?
Well, things won’t look so rosy for Cummings and Johnson.
I can’t work out if this is Farage’s end-game or a negotiating position because his (publicly communicated) condition on linking up in a Leave Pact is to scrap the deal. That’s surely something that Boris couldn’t do and survive. Surely?
EDIT: The ad was in The Sunday Express - immediately after an exclusive interview with Boris. Lol.
Fuck all seems to stick to Teflon BJ… so would not be too surprised if he does an about turn and joins Nigel’breakingpointofbrownfaces’ Farage, insisting his deal was only there to try and heal wounds, unite country, offer something in spirit of reconciliation to the Remainers … fuck he could come out of this with folks believing he is like a white Nelson Mandela… no wonder he’s was wearing a Rugby shirt the other day…
My sense is that Johnson has to now move to a more moderate Brexit ground. A pragmatic, best we can do, least-hard, soonest mended Brexit.
Yesterday I heard it mooted that No Deal would be ruled out in the Tory manifesto. (As we know, it probably doesn’t rule out No Deal after a failed transition period).
That this is even being circulated means that the Tory’s research is telling them they are alienating some of their base.
It’s a tough tightrope that Johnson is trying to walk and Farage is undoing the knot.
Yep… but then again, there are those for whom Brexit was only ever about getting into Pandora’s box…
It’s split the Tories worst of all, but as we have seen, the Labour leadership is also at odds with 75% of the Labour voting electorate also having voted remain, not surprising given the age demographic and where the impact will be most felt…
So we will see some very strange voting … I suspect as many will vote on the single issue … a boon for food banks so always an upside…
Agreed on that.
FPTP combined with what is ostensibly a single-issue general election means that tactical voting will be rife.
Predicting the outcome will be a nightmare.
I will look into that. I used to have an ad blocker.
Jo Swinson called out on this by Sophie Ridge. Ridge likens it to £350m on the side of a bus in its levels of misleadingness. Her defence is, er, interesting.

So this is going to be a vicious campaign and the labour side have come racing out of the blocks
So much for moderation etc etc
It’s a target rich environment.
The stakes are high…the gloves are off…reasoned debate takes a back seat.
Let’s have an example of labour’s viciousness. I have seen plenty from Labour’s opponents, thousands of Jewish people will flee the UK within minutes in terror if corbyn wins was today’s from the Conservative party chairman.
Just read any Labour activist twitter feed - it’s there
