đŸ€Ș 2019 General Election Discussion :gov:

Johnson keeps talking about the strong economy but this article from 11/11/19 says we only just avoided recession. If that’s true, why isn’t the lady or Jeremy picking him up on it?

I can’t complain, as i didn’t after 97(which i only did begrudgingly) until 15.
Ricky would have been fun and brutally honest.

I live in West Derby. It’s going Labour.

I do not shit my pants at the prospect of a no deal Brexit. They were the only party articulating that view and they pitched themselves as neither left nor right.

If you’re wowed by that, just consider the fact that if we’d had a no deal Brexit on the 29th March, the Brexit Party would not exist, Boris Johnson would not be Prime Minister, and we’d probably already have had a general election fought entirely on domestic issues.

I’d have been a lot happier about Labour’s prospects.

As for the Brexit Party, they’ve left no deal supporters completely disenfranchised in 317 seats, with no ability to articulate a political position via a vote. They have completely undermined one thing they say they stand for, democracy.

Shame on them or anyone else that would attempt to deny, however subtly, folk of a political voice.

Fuck off with the stupid fucking Christmas questions. She just said they run out of time to get through all the qs but they got time for this? Fuck off you fucking sack of shits.

We learned very little there except for perhaps the potential voting intentions of our members.

The only thing that will change a Tory majority is some cooperation amongst the revoke/remain/referendum parties
or perhaps the Met Police.

How’s the teeth gnashing going

I think, by the end of that, even Johnson was fucking sick of his shit slogans. If I could have 5 minutes alone with the big blonde balloon of bullshit I’d get something fucking done. No dither no delay. Cunt.

More to the point do you now think the country trusts Bojo to get anything done. Did he inspire you?

So how did that affect your voting intention and did I miss anything other than raised blood pressure?

Didn’t watch it because I think these debates are absolute bullshit and a complete waste of time

Something we agree on.

This could backfire.

Ralph Little, Armondo Iannucci, Charlie Brooker and a load of others have re-branded their accounts as fact checker accounts.

I didn’t watch the debate. Were the glasses as bad as those clear plastic ones I had as a kid? Oh with added plaster over it?
No? Then they’re probably not that bad then.

One fat man quoting another fat man dissing a good man’s glasses.

Politics has become the X-factor.

What glasses
was he wearing glasses? Strangely nobody’s glasses were top of my agenda.
BTW my eyesight is perfect.

No need for the personal insults. If you can’t make your point without resorting to personal digs then don’t bother.
