Tony Blair is so vain that he doesn’t realise he is the best recruiting sergeant Brexit supporters could ever have. Every time he opens his mouth on the subject, any subject, people automatically take the opposite view. He’s not completely clueless. When he and his pals were pushing for a crushing Labour defeat in 2017 (I know, amazing init?), they were looking to start a new pro-European party. Blair was savvy enough to know it couldn’t be him that fronted it.

I think the dubious phrases panel would have to allow ‘deluded’ or we would never be able to discuss Brendan Rodgers. Having read said mates claims to penning all rap music I would say he is more Batshit mentalist than deluded anyway.

Even accepting non discriminatory definitions in the abstract, that is not how either AG or you chose to employ it. If you can give me a scenario in which the use isn’t “they think something different to me. There must be something wrong with them”, I’m all ears.
Believing something that is not true, is not only evident in thsoe suffering from a clinical health issue… you know that Pap so stop being a dick about it. As someone who has dealt with mental health issues in my family in the past, (and who works closely within the healthcare sector) your insinuation to try and score a cheap point is pretty insulting as it is ignorant and you can pretend you are justified all you like, you still just look like a prick. (and not the defender of mental health that you seem to want to be seen as)

I have a long history of believing things that turned out to be Non-True. I.e. that Gaston Ramirez would come good, that the Soviet would have Real Powers, that they make raisins round the back of tesco from stale and unsold grapes.
I’ve been dealing with family with mental health issues for the past 31 years. I’m still dealing with them. It’ll never get any better, as anyone that knows my family history will know.

I dont need to repeat it. Overcomming social stigma associated with mental health is a critical issue as you will know. However, the word delude or being deluded is NOT the same as a clinical definition of suffering from Delusion associated with other diagnoses. To suggest that its all the same is inaccurate, and does nothing to help challenge thsoe folks who fail to see mental health as an important clinical issue. That is my very simple point. Your failure to differentiate here, and thus what you insinuate is insulting not only to me, but more importantly to those suffering from a clinical diagnosis. So stop being a dick about it.
PS. You suggest ‘they think differently to me, therefore they are deluded’ NO I DO NOT, please do not make stuff up. What was said was folks who believe taht the UK will be disregarding US input into our foreign policy are vbelieving something that is not true… hense deluded asper dictionary definition
