Interesting to see how the Argies who play over here will be received by fans when the season starts.

So, the Argies have a better team spirit than us as well as a fair few more players willing to push themselves to their limits. Not sure some England players actually hold the same feeling of pride when playing national football as the Argies, obviously some do, but some pampered fannies don’t seem to want to put themselves on the line when it counts.

Sort of agree… but most just blaming the ā€˜german’ now despite the fact they sat back after the goal, before any subs made… TT said himself he made the defensive subs as he felt they were struggling… Bellingham quite quiet… not sure the ā€˜row’ was resolved despite it being media generated, but I think Bellingham was not able to see it for what it was… he was absent from the huddles during the ad breaks, off doing his own coaching… For some reason, they did not look at cohesive in this game, at first thought the body language was just nerves, but in hindsight?

Mexico also took its toll physically IMHO, as well as the team responding exactly as Argentina wanted them to their continual WUM and fouls…

We got to where we should have, the best 4 teams in the world were in the semi’s. The players are largely comparable and for me, it came down to who wanted it more. the Argies did and we didn’t. Kudos to some of the England players who ā€œturned upā€ in this tournament, but the squad seems to have some who don’t possess the required level of big hairy bollocks to win a tournament. Must be frustrating for the ones who do, e.g Bellingham.

I think we gave it a very good go last night. Not many serious fans would have expected us to get this far.

As has been said the previous games took a toll for sure. For 2/3 of the match we did really well and deserved the lead. Passion, effort and some very very decent Argie substitutes against a tiring and retreating team did for us.

But I would take that versus the insipid, disjointed and individuals not cooperating approach of the apparent favourites, France who were truly awful.

And even had we hung on somehow, Spain would still have taught us a lesson.

Agreed. The fact that they were dominating the game against our starting eleven, meant we had to bring on defensive subs. I didn’t fancy Saka and Watkins in the back 5.

And if that moron, Rooney , criticises Tuchel, he needs to have his managerial record shoved right in his fat face.

And don’t get me started on Jamie fucking O’Hara.

What’s the betting the useless orange cunt uses as an opportunity to make a shithouse political point. Esp if Spain win as he’s fallen out with Sanchez and loves Milei.
