The battle most have never heard of that changed the course of history in Euorpe.

I learn bits like this not for being a history buff or for the tours but simply that this place has such a lot of history stories of invasion etc.

The real irony is they are all keen to dish out misinformation when it serves them…the same can work against them.

You could argue that the person making the post is suggesting you must be an immigrant if you’re brown or don’t have the surname Smith.

With highs of 33° expected AGAIN today, it’s time to ask “could the government have done more?” Downing Street knew about this heatwave weeks ago and have done nothing. Shipments of 400,000 pairs of Speedos and 500,000 bikinis, sun cream and Cornettos have reportedly been sent back as unsafe after media claims the shipment was quarantined a month ago and Boris did nothing.
Karen from Chavington said, “We just don’t know if it’s safe to go outside and sunbathe because we can’t function or think for ourselves. Boris hasn’t told us either way and all my obese kids need ice cream and sweets, the Hubby can’t get out to rob anyone so we’re out of lager and weed, I blame the government entirely”
Meanwhile, anti- heat protesters dressed in thick jumpers chanting “cold lives matter” have marched on London, Big Ben has been removed and a giant Mint Feast put in its place by protesters.
The BBC reported earlier, ‘clearly the sun has come out and Downing street have done nothing to prevent it.’
A second heat Wave is expected to hit the UK in 4 weeks time .

You couldn’t make this up. Just witnessed the greatest comedy “moment” of all time. I’m broken. It’s a long story but…
At Polish Weddings, the “Lads” block the road & demand a ransom from the groom (case of Vodka).
Village Fireman getting married today.
The “Lads” bring the 2 village Fire Engines down outside our place all sirens going to set it up. And recieved a 999 call (warned you)
Turns out a bonfire 3 doors down has gone ballistic Sirens on Engine 1 moves down road stops, “Lads” get out.
Little old Lady on phone, drives into back of Fire Engine!
Fire put out, car moved, Lady is OK.
Reset roadblock, using the Grooms’ car. Which they “set on fire”
Meanwhile Antique fire engine sirens blazing is flagged down
Groom has to disembark, collect Fire Extinguisher from Engine #2 & put out the fire by blasting his Engine (smoke generator use makes it “real”.
Job done, ransom paid (case of Vodka) round of applause from all of us & off he goes to Church Blue Lights & Siren!
Will let you know if the Little old Lady sues them!
