Simon was one of our best umpires ever. I respect that comment but in the end all it will do is offer more shit to the sandwich so to speak. My two cents is it should have gone to another super over with new batters and bowlers but hey, you know what they say about opinions…

Agree with that, what’s done is done. 24 hours later, in hindsight after the scores being level, not just in the game but in the super over, I would have liked to have seen both captains shake hands and call it a draw, share the trophy, joint world champions. Can’t see anything wrong with that. Would probably have been the grown-up thing to do.
