Went to the v&a yesterday to look at posh dresses. But saw this on the way out. Heather and Peter must be pretty strong.
They have obviously taken great steps to provide that support…
Boom boom
Sadly a lot of the street cleaners are now on zero hours contracts after lots of privatisation in local government. But agree with the message.
I worked in Southampton City Council as a part-timer after taking early pay-off from my career. Had a job for 4 years in street cleansing dept and I can tell you the cleaning crews were “the salt of the earth”…great people every last one of them. They are the first department to suffer cuts from Central Government cut-backs and the first department to suffer criticism from the general public when they consequently notice a deterioration in service.
I constantly challenge ignorant rants about them “not doing their jobs” on Southampton related FB sites.
As a regular listener of Test Match Special this article caught my eye. Blimey! I always had Aggers down as a gentile, slightly posh individual, incapable of industrial language on this scale. How wrong i was. He could give Bletch a run for his money!
Fuck ‘im, knacka!
That’s what I call family togetherness…one goes, they all go.
No good if you haven’t got a head for heights…
Not the tweet, the replies
Nice pic, pap, and your hair looks lovely - but how come you used to be so much taller? And who’s the wild-eyed kid standing in front of you?
