TBH @Polski_Filipâs insult was quite apposite. Me and me mates were supposed to be showing our jalopies at a show at Bransgore today.
It just happened to fall on one of the hottest days of the year. Sitting in a field for several hours without any cover talking bollocks might have some attraction for Phil but for me, a little less.
One by one yesterday my mates dropped out. Being made of sterner stuff I held out until someone pointed out the route home would be through Lyndhurst in a car without air-conditioning.
I am instead sitting aroud the pool in Slowlane Mansions being served ice-cool beers by grateful staff.
