And on this note, Fairport Convention are at the Turner Sims this week.
Went to a couple of their gigs at Talking Heads and somewhere else many years ago, because I had a mad niece over 50 who was a bit of a groupie, and knew the band. She was from Wales (the land of the Jones’s), and insisted on going and us taking her! She stayed with my sister, and then went back to the hills, haven’t seen her since!
They were all creaky old then, let alone now! Brilliant show though - would have gone but other commitments got in the way.
That’s great Phil, now tell us a golf story. 
The last time I picked up a golf bat was September 2021 at Centerparcs Longleat on the crazy golf course.
I was particularly good on the 7th hole which had a particularly difficult dogs leg.
I won obviously but there were no celebrities to toast the occasion 
Always preferred a Chicken Leg to a Dog Leg.
But then on a DTI trip to Shenzhen back in the day I realized it made a damn fine main course.
This has to be a statue of the world’s greatest goalkeeper given the size of his hands and feet. Right?
This has to be up there with the original Ted Bates statue…
