Really enjoying the new Diiv album, which came out today. This does cause a slight dilemma, as some of their members behaviour over the past couple of years does go against some personally held beliefs.

But damn does that dreamy, spaced out sound tick all my boxes.

Liked the TTTs - they sound a bit like the love children of the Cocteau Twins.

As Bletch an I have previously discussed the original (Nine Inch Nails) and the cover (Johnny Cash), here’s an Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) live version, from 2008.

Love this song. Steve Mcqueen album is really evocative

He’s let himself go a bit though :astonished:

If you like Paddy but think he’s a withdrawn recluse…think again. From a couple of years ago…

There’s a guy who’s happy in his own skin.

I missed that interview, I listen to Rad Mac daily in the car. He always shied away from interviews. Steve Mcqueen album is fantastic

All Paddy’s output is pretty amazing. If you enjoyed that interview here’s a looong interview with Pete Paphides (1hr28mins) which covers everything. Well worth it as it reveals what an open generous person Paddy is (OK I admit I have a bit of a “man-crush”) but Pete Paphides is a big fan too so gets the best out of him: https://www.mixcloud.com/longplayer/long-player-with-pete-paphides-episode-5-paddy-mcaloon/

Love this song and great, quirky video…

Talking heads, my goodness they have some great material.
