Charlatans new album

Driving home last night/stuck in traffic Radio 2 DJ Spooney (sp?)

What cracking music he played, and jeez McFadden & Whitehead is 46 years old - great vibe of 70’s 80’s - no idea what you call the genre but 90 minutes of chillax soulish stuff.

Most enjoyable traffic jam that was

ā€˜Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now ā€˜?

I listened to Foxy Shazam’s first album to the point where it has now clicked. I only know they exist because of Peacemaker S2; one of their songs is the new theme tune.

Not very big over here, even when released in 2010, but got a shitload of critical praise state-side. Typical comments include ā€œThis shouldn’t work, but it doesā€.

This might be my favourite.

Oh how wonderful

I had no idea

Hasselhof Mud & Rammstein in one night

This is THE greatest music in the World.
The most astounding Half Time show.
Love it.

Look it’s shit awful but MAGA & Trump hate it so its great

Back in the mid ā€˜90s a friend lent me the album Bali by Wondermints. I loved that album, great songs, wonderful harmonies redolent of late ā€˜60s Beachboys. It was hardly a surprise to find them backing Brian Wilson when he made his comeback album Live At The Roxy. We saw them with Brian at The Festival Hall in 2001…I cried at the gig, they were all so good.

This is a live recording of Wondermints from 1999…sublime harmonies…
