Too late, iāve gone for the Lagavulin, but feel free to tell me why thatās wrong. I do like a malt but no idea what one to choose.
Ardbeg 10 (as long as you are OK with peat)
Is the best of those listed In more than my opinion
I love a peat, but need it pointed out to me. Will remember for next time. Cheers.
Nearly all of those listed ( not Ardbeg) are owned by Diageo - now generally this is not a that bad a fhing, but they tend to cater more for the generalist malt drinker so they are too often chill filtered and have colouring added ⦠both of which impact the taste. But if it gets folks into Malt and then gets them into more interesting drama that is a good thing! Anyway we are on wrong thread
Lagavulin will give you a decent peat phenolic hit (if itās not been open on the shelf for several months ) it a decent dram but there is soooo much more on the peat trail
Itās ok, slightly peaty but not as much as some iāve tried. My daughter may be more in tune with you. Likes a good malt, but wasnāt impressed and gave it back before i had to demand it backš
Haha. I suspect bottle has been open a while. The more heavily phenolic prayed malts will lose that hit quick through oxidation so they need to be drunk with a few weeks of use a gas preservative
Go on have an Ardbeg!
Went up to Wembley Arena on Friday to see ZZ Top Still brilliant after 50 years
, canāt believe itās their 50th anniversary tour.
It always amazes me how many peopleās lives remain untouched by musicā¦donāt even break their stride as they walk past.
A lack of humanityā¦discuss.
You should try living in Winchester. I mean I love music. But running the gauntlet of sensitive young middle-class chaps with acoustic guitars on the High Street at lunch time⦠theyāre lucky I just walk past. The day I stop will be remembered as the Mumford Massacre.
I am confused by that sound being made in an office. But it does sound good.
