Missed this video first time roundā¦2015. This is fantasticā¦the mind that put this together. 
Yeah, Iām pretty open about being something of a fan boy, but Iām actually disappointed in the album.
Thereās some good moments on there, but overall it feels a bit half-cooked and scattershot.
I get they are trying to move into a differenet direction (bands always seemed damned if they do, damned if they donāt at around this stage), but Iām not really sure itās working for them.
Itās all a bit disco/synth heavy, and Iām not convinced they are actually totally comfortable doing it. Also, the cod reggae tracks? Dafuq?
I get the impression listening to the album that Win is, perhaps, not as deep as heād like to think.
They are still a great live band, and Iāll still enjoy seeing them. I just hope they get back to making better stuff in the future, and maybe pick up the guitars again.

Iāve been enjoying their album a fair amount this year.
They played at Citadel festival down the road from me a few weeks back, managed to drag krGF and a couple of mates over to the stage they were on. Have to say they were loads of fun.
I did approach it with a sense of trepidation, particularly as no one else had heard them. Iāve been stung in the past by similar acts being disappointing live (Iām looking at you, Niki & the dove), but they were very enjoyable. Iād certainly recommend.
