Being a big Paddy MacAloon fan Iāve listened to this a couple of times over the last 3 years. I donāt think you have to be a fan but Pete Paphides obviously is and it brings a fascinating insight into the creative process.
Far from being the supposed recluse Paddy is honest, open and amusing. An uplifting listen if you love musicā¦if you donāt have time for the whole 90 minutes in one hit, dip in and outā¦well worth it.
Hot dog, jumping frog!
'Tis the mark of true genius.
Canāt remember who introduced me to these guys on the chain, think it might have been @krg_ ? Any way they make some great noise
haha yes @gavstar !!
Dunno if it was me, but I do bloody love these guys. They are as batshit bonkers as the name suggests. Had this video (yes, all 13 mins of it) on repeat the last few days.
Out to see them in a few weeks (and probably at glasto - knee permitting), canāt wait!
Theyāve got a dude that plays harmonica through guitar pedals, what is there not to love?
I, very occasionally, have my uses
Forgive me, iām going to post a whole mess of videos here right now, starting with this oneā¦that crowd!
Arcade Fire, plus Once Upon in a time in the West
Always liked Garbage without being a fan as such (got their first album and thats it) but came across this and it was a bit of an eye opener ⦠this is a great live set, watched it a couple of times now. The band sounds massive and Shirley Manson rocks ⦠and looks pretty foxy for a scot with a camel toe . Worth a look even if you just skip thru for the tracks you know.
annnnnnd KRG becomes insufferable for the next few months
