Wembley Ticket Thread

We’ll be at Wembley, with or without tickets

Obviously hoping we’ll score a couple from somewhere, preferably before we leave Australia rather than scrabbling around for the couple of days before the match when we’d much rather be sat around enjoying a few drinks and getting over our jet lag!

I haven’t got mine yet, give us a chance!

See my daughter asked and I said “ha ha ha, not a fucking chance”. Then gave her a hug. Bless her.

Probably worth emailing the club and letting them know your predicament if you haven’t already. You’re travelling a long way. Can’t do any harm.

If you do have any joy - can you try and blag me one?

Tried that. Didn’t directly ask for assistance, was just trying to confirm what my membership numbers were just in case there were any left at the end (I can/could live in hope!) and in case I can also get tickets for the Watford away the following week. This was their response…

"Good Afternoon Glenn,

Thank you for your email.

We have taken the opportunity to look at your supporter numbers, and can see that you will not be eligible to purchase a ticket for the final. Due to the very high demand surrounding the fixture, we are unable to make any exceptions to our sales criteria.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,

Craig
Ticket Office Assistant
Southampton FC"

I understand that there is a phenomenal demand for tickets, but so much for Ralph trying to make us a global brand…what’s the point if we can never get to see us play!

I’ve still got some irons in the fire, so I haven’t given up hope yet

Please excuse my nievity but can somebody explain how there are so many tickets availible from touts and on line.?

Is it legal for coporate companies who get tickets allocated to sell them off or is it private individuals. Its always gone on but I thought there were legal changes to try and stop it.

If we get roughly a third of the capacity and United the same. Is there a list to show who gets allocated the extra third? And finally how does someone register to become one of the so called ‘football family’?

Big thanks to S05 for getting up at dawn and securing tickets for him, me, Fowllyd and junior S05. After discussing getting seats near the half way line, he thankfully ignored that idea and we are duly located behind our goal . Now just to decide on the pre-match / entire weekend drinking plans.

It was nothing. I’m selling Fowllyd’s to a tout though

Or he’ll leave it in a pub and insist you did, even when he has gone back to said pub, retrieved the ticket, and will _still _be blaming you as he’s tucking into a Pukka at half-time.

I’m sorry, are you suggesting that there’s something unreasonable in such behaviour?

The thing with that is Ralph is full of shit and wanking over NHL 2003 as I type.

Starting to try to change my trip priorities

Need to rebrand it on my Social Media.

Now need to make it a Business Trip with a football match in it rather than the big I’m going to Wembley thing.

With our current defence I’m kinda anticipating a painful afternoon and weeks of piss taking

Don’t worry…it’s only Football.

Uh oh :-

Can’t we just cut out all that bollox and do it in the Pub while you look at my food bill?

See he hasn’t learnt from the JPT debacle. Nicks still trying to organise pre match drinks

One of the best meets was when I was on the Ugly Inside forum. We all met in Cardiff before the cup final 2003, Just around the corner from the ground, got there early and had big corner of the pub. It kind of gathered momentum from 2001, and having a Friday drinking club. More and more came and by the end of 2003 there were about 30 of us for the final.

Amazing times - also used to have a team, who played teams of supporters before premier league games in the afternoon. After the cup final it died out… like the Ugly Inside.

But very fond memories.

Go fucking steaming into the Mancs with the Raider!

The lad could do some damage.

Getting to the stage where I have to bite the bullet and get 2 tickets from SOMEWHERE…not getting any joy from family and friends in the UK (including a couple with club contacts). I was holding on in desperation just in case the official ticket supply went down to members without any games for this season but I admit that is just being delusional.

So…the question now is which ticket agency do I buy them from. There seem to be plenty out there if I am prepared to pay around 300 upwards (or 250 if I wanted any in the Utd end!). Has anybody here bought through a a ticket agency and got any positive feedback for me? I hate lining their pockets but beggars can’t be choosers.
