Has been like that since Saturday!!!
I mean reverted to it after holdiing me in a queue for an hour. That was the result of the queuing.
Tuesday 14th February (9am) ā Official Members who have purchased AT LEAST FOUR home fixtures from the 2016/17 season.
Wednesday member +3 home games.
Thursday member +2
And so on.
ā¦and itās around this point that I start to get annoyed. So some little wanker who has popped along with his mates to watch a ābigā game against Chelsea and/or Spurs now gets priority over a life-long fan who, not for the first time, is travelling half way around the world to watch his team play without even a guarantee of a ticket. THANKS for nothing Saints.
yeah, I know they canāt please everyone but it still fucking sucks balls. I may need to change my name on this forum.
Understand your frustration, @smiler , but not sure whether the club can start handing out preferential treatment to people that live a fair distance away. Those annoying gloryboys you refer to, and they annoy me too, have paid for tickets multiple times over the season. Whatāll really piss you off is some of them probably donāt even like Saints that much, and theyāre further up the pecking order.
That all said, itās the best system of assessing worthiness with a degree of attachment, and like any broadly applied system, itās imperfect. I once witnessed a round of redundancies based on time and attendance. Some very good people left the business.
I live 250 miles away from the club. Every home game does me for about 150-200UKP. I sometimes get a lower rate when weāve got games bunched up. The way I see my situation is that Iāve moved to Liverpool. chose to get a season ticket so canāt moan about the financial black hole. Moving away sucks if you love your hometown team.
Hope you get a ticket mate, but equally, you could understand regular attenders being miffed if they were shoved aside for the jetset.
Iām getting pissed in North West shitty London irrespective.
I donāt agree. If the only criteria is membership plus 1 or 2 games then that negates your comment for having paid for tickets multiple times this season (OKā¦technically it doesnāt as more than once is multiple I guess). Those games could be cheap $10 cup games or glory hunting against the big boys. When it comes to spending dough, I bet I spend more each season just in the Saints shop! (Easy for family to buy me presents at xmas and birthdaysā¦), and when I do come over I generally spend at least a couple of hundred at the shop within days of landing. They should have just opened it up to all memberships once they got down to less than 3 or 4 games (arbitrary, I know) to give all fans who bother to take up the membership arrangement a chance. The club are supposed to be encouraging and promoting more of a world wide audience. For what reason I donāt know if they arenāt prepared to enable us to ever get tickets for games like this.
I will be at Wembley, with or without a ticket. If I miss out on one from the club then I will endeavour to source a couple through a ticket agency and line their pockets instead. Funnily enough the prices have dropped a bit in the past week. I can find them in the Saints end for around 350 GBP and in the Utd end for under 300 GBP. Hopefully I donāt leave it too late, but Iād rather wait until all the bona fide tickets are exhausted first (plus Iād much rather pay 100 GBP for 2 than 700ā¦)
Actually @pap
Aussiesaint20 from the Other side has worked his arse off getting all the Global Saints Fan Groups to link together under the #globalsfc banner.
Every other ābig clubā has fan groups around the world, and most of them are actually reconised with āOfficial Supporters Clubsā status. They even have Committees and pay subscriptions etc. Very much like London Saints & Northern Saints.
The club WAS approached to find a way to link these groups and create some form of self funding or even sponsored integration. They said no.
Remembering that āVolunteersā run FB and Twitter Groups (Our Krew alone have over 3000 followers on Twitter) give up some second rate social media skills time each week, answer questions from travelling fans and generally promote our Global Brand.
Whilst we have lost a lot of members with the downturn in Oil Gas etc here, we still have over 20 active members and we manage to attend on average 25 games a season between us - 10 of us went to Milan ffs - not much change from $1000 for that. (But obviously we are BAD FANS as the Club did not benefit from our stupid desire to spend money on our team)
Now we donāt ask for anything EXCEPT to be recognised to have a Ticket Ordering system that allows us to actually get a Physical Ticket (almost impossible for Milan). Hell the Club USE our āIPā by Tweeting our location in their Marketing showing how āGlobalā they are.
We simply want a way to be able to order tickets in the same way London Saints can - even one ticket we could do our own āGames Attendedā system.
Overseas groups DO add value - we have even been badgering the local Under Armour Branch to stock our Training Kit etc ffs. Our local mates read our perpetual retweets or shares on FB. Iāve converted at least 5 family members in Poland to join Polski Saints.
When it is Ticket Time? We have to rely on mates, even to get one delivered.
THAT is not right, and the Club are at variance with their alleged policy of expanding the global brand.
And before you ask - the local Manc fan group got allocated 10 tickets
Eek. I feel kind of dirty. First post on the other side in at least a year probably more, but felt I needed to as I know some on here ARE desperate

My Reply
Legitimate local branch of Ticketmaster. Have used them widely for events & concerts.
Ticketmaster Middle East have no Employee by the name of Joanna Hutchings.
Ticketmaster Offices are ONLY permitted to sell tickets for events in their own Country.
Ticketmaster Middle East have NO EFL final tickets available nor have they EVER sold tickets for an event outside this region. If you are contacted then Ticketmaster recommend you immediately report that contact to the Police as some desperate fan further down the line may get ripped off.
Note: There ARE some Corporate Tickets in this region, Emirates Airline for example as FA Cup Sponsor, some Digital Media Companies with operations here, as well as the Official Middle East Manc Supporters group. Some of our Krew have also been able to obtain Corporate and I can assure you none of those are for sale at ANY price - NONE of the Dubai Krew have come across ANY of those being sold locally (and trust me we have some members who are trying VERY hard to get tickets)
HTH
Enjoy the OS Ticketline queue later today
The Club really should do more to help overseas Saints fans.
I now have to queue for 22 minutes for @ericofarabia
The amount of beer he could owe me if we donāt fuck this up is growing exponentially
Boom!
Mate was held in a queue for TWO WHOLE MINUTES!
Got the ticket for Eric. Think we are now up to 4 Official Dubai Krew confirmed heading over 1 very probable and 2 possible
Due to my lack of attendance this season Iām still waiting. Still donāt understand why Away games donāt count thoughā¦
Fingers crossed Iāll get some in the end, but not counting on it.
How many home games have you paid for?
My daughters eligible tomorrow and iām still not sure sheāll get one. About 15-20 blocks still have tickets available. Maybe 1500ā tickets left.
*very optimistic
Ok. Serious question. Has anybody got a recommendation with regards to a ticket agency I can use, please.
Just got off the phone to my stepdad who has blown me away by offering to pay for 2 tickets from an agency if I can find them for around the 300 mark. Not sure if I can get them at that price, but the last thing I want to do is to pay some shonky company and find Iāve forked out his dough for some fakes.
Iād like to buy them in the next day or so, so a couple of swift replies would be really appreciated. Thanks.
Almost smiling again
0 home, 3 away. Did tons last season but there we go!
Does anyone know anything about how gate receipts are distributed?
I think in cup games, each team gets 50% of the gate, which is why the minnows get such a boost from going to the likes of Old Trafford.
How does it work out for league?
